Waltzing with Shadows was commissioned by Jerome Kessler and Stu Golberg and premiered on July 15, 2000 in Fullerton, California.
Waltzing with Shadows was featured during J.A.C. Redford’s 2004 residency at Marshall University. In November 2009, cellist Jerome Kessler performed Waltzing with Shadows with pianist Theodora Primes for a meeting of the Los Angeles Violoncello Society.
