Text
Adapted by J.A.C. Redford
Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness (Psalm 96:9a NJB)
Worship the Lord in the holiness of beauty
Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name
Bow down to the Lord in the splendour of holiness
and dance in his honour, all men on earth (1 Chronicles 16:29-30 NEB)
Out of Zion, perfect in its beauty, God reveals himself in glory (Psalm 50:2 NJB)
One thing have I asked of the Lord; one thing I seek;
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life;
To behold the fair beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple. (Psalm 27:4)
